Erasmus Exchange Program:
As the International Relations Unit, we believe that collaborations in both domestic and international levels will promote the quality at institutional and scientific means as our University progresses towards becoming a world university, and in this respect, we think that projects that increase collaboration opportunities will play a key role as we move towards our strategic goals.
The education and Youth Programs by the European Union are platforms that facilitate collaboration between universities at the international level. Our university has been motivated to seek partnership oppoutunities within the framework of these programs in order to follow the latest development and trends, promote the institutional quality and standards, and intensify its competence.
Eskişehir Osmangazi University applied to the European Commission to receive the Erasmus University Charter in November 2004 and our application was approved by the European Commission on 31 May 2005.
Our university has adapted our whole coursework to ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) and specified the credits for all courses. Hence,
ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credit amounts have been determined for all courses given at our university. Thus, equivalency for our students who go abroad can be obtained effectively. Our university, which has also completed the "Diploma Supplement" studies, has been giving the Diploma Supplement to its students who graduated since the Spring Semester of the 2005-2006 Academic Year.
